Experienced Program Manager and Executive Leader Shalaina Abioye

Shalaina Abioye joined the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Texas in 2022 and continues to drive operations at the organization as Executive Director. Her efforts with the IRC have prioritized the expansion of the operating budget and staff. She has also supported new programming and secured first-time grants, including the Afghan Refugee Health Promotion. Shalaina Abioye has also made multiple market adjustments that have yielded increased compensation and marketing competitiveness with peer organizations.

Ms. Abioye held various positions at Educational First Steps from 2015 to 2017, including roles as a Strategic Initiatives Analyst and Quality Assurance Manager. Subsequently, she assumed leadership roles in multiple programs at Catholic Charities Fort Worth, overseeing services for veterans and refugees.

Shalaina Abioye is pursuing her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and Development at Grand Canyon University. She earned a Master of Arts in Diplomacy from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University. She also holds an associate degree in electronics engineering technology from Richland College. Her personal interests include traveling and reading.
